Our Work

UDAAN works with disempowered and marginalised communities like women, single women, migrant workers, youth, and children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS on issues of health including care, support and treatment, violence reduction, and social inclusion. Our approach to strengthening the health system and services includes empowering the community, enabling a stigma-free environment for the community, and mainstreaming and improving the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.

UDAAN works directly with the community and provides community-based health services to targeted populations to mitigate the impact of HIV through STI screening and treatment services and care and support services to people living with HIV. Service linkages for the community and evidence with advocacy are other strategies of UDAAN.
