<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nPROJECTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n GHAR & VIHAAN: Targets to improve the quality of life of People Living with HIV\/AIDS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Drop-in-centres are set up for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and other members from socially stigmatized communities at Ghatkopar and Goregaon in Mumbai and Panvel in Raigad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through our drop-in-centres at Ghatkopar and Goregaon and Panvel (Raigad), we reach out to 37,000+ PLHIV. They are linked to various government social protection and welfare schemes, and to avail of a few life-saving medicines from government hospitals across the state. <\/p>\n\n\n RAHI, PRAVASI, PRABHAT, SAKSHAM: Targets to reduce STI\/HIV\/AIDS infections amongst migrants <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The project focuses on STI and HIV prevention activities. More than 75,000 migrant populations in Mumbai<\/strong> (Pravasi-Goregaon, Rahi-Ghatkopar), Thane<\/strong> (Prabhat-Bhiwandi), and Raigad <\/em><\/strong>(Saksham-Panvel) have been provided information on HIV and STI preventions, referrals for screening of STI and HIV, and treatment for the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The project also provides information on safe sexual health practices through IEC and condom promotion<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018SAHIDISHA\u2019 and \u2018RAKSAHK\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The project works on Prevention of STI\/HIV among Transgenders & MSM in Pune district. The services are provided through safe spaces\u2014one in the heart of Pune city (PMC area) and in Pimpri (PCMC area) to 1,400 MSM\/TGs across the twin cities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n IMPACT <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Udaan currently focuses on health-related projects and closely works with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and other line departments to provide prevention, care, support, and treatment services.
